The Great Investment
A Letter from our Senior Pastor
The Great Investment is the most extensive and exciting project we have undertaken at The Gathering. So many people have been a part of the vision for The Gathering since we first began in August 17, 2000. We have grown from a bible study of 25 people to our current attendance of 1450 - 1500 per weekend.
The time to build is RIGHT. The time to build is NOW.
There are many places to invest your money, but most of those are temporary. I am excited about an opportunity to invest our time and money in something that will make a difference for eternity. There is no Greater Investment that we can make than in a life that has been changed by the grace of God.
Through the information you will find on these web pages you will find how you can make a Great Investment in changed lives - which is truly priceless. The Great Investment is requiring that each family in our church give a sacrificial gift like they have never given before.
The challenge before us is to raise 16-18 million dollars, and with your commitment to give we will accomplish the following:
- Pay for the Land
- State of the Art Worship Facility
- Parking
- Children's and Youth Center
- Staff Offices
- Bookstore and Coffee Shop
- Lodge and Conference Center
