Nursery : Birth - 3 ½ Years old

Nursing infants gurgle choruses about you; toddlers shout the songs that drown out enemy talk, and silence atheist babble.
                                                               Psalm 8:2 (message)

Director: Angel Sullivan ()

Your child is special to us. We believe every child has a purpose in life. Therefore it is our privilege to help build a foundation based on Jesus Christ and his love for children. Our nursery department is divided into 3 groups and staffed by loving, caring workers. It is our desire to provide a safe environment where Parents feel confident their child is being loved and cared for.

 Cuddlers Room (Infant & Crawlers)

We show God's love by example. Caring for each child's individual needs. We pray that    every child in our care will receive all that God has for them in life.

"Therefore anyone who humbles himself as this little child, is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And any of you who welcomes a little child like this because you are mine, is welcoming me and caring for me." Matthew 18:4,5(TLB)

 Toddlers (1 year olds)

Children in this room will have plenty of playtime to explore the world around them. We also begin teaching simple Bible truths at this age. Continuing to build on the foundation & love of Jesus Christ.

2's & 3's

Come be a part of our TERRIFIC 2's & 3's. We worship through Bible stories, songs and playtime.

Teach a child to choose the right path, and when he is older he will remain upon it. Proverbs 22: 6

 General:

Nursery facilities will be open 20 minutes prior to regular church services.

What to bring
  • Please bring a diaper bag with diapers, wipes, bottle or sippie cup with milk, juice, formula or water, pacifier or other item your child may need.
  • Please label all personal items with your child's first and last name before arriving. This will help us keep track of your child's belongings as well as expedite the check-in process.

Your child's health

In order to insure the safety and health of other babies and workers, please do not bring your child if he/she has had any of the following symptoms within the past 24 hours. Runny nose, fever, diarrhea, vomitting, rash or any other signs of illness. Thank you in advance for helping us keep the nursery/toddler departments a healthy place for all.

When you arrive at your child's room

A caregiver will meet you at the door to receive your child and any of their belongings. Please give any information that will help in caring for your child. (i.e.. feeding times, sleeping times, allergies and special needs.)

When your child is checked in, you will receive a security number assigned to your child/children. This number serves as a security check as well as a pager number. Should your child need you during service, the number will appear on the screens located on both sides of the sanctuary.  We ask that only parents or guardians deliver and pick up your child.

Saying good-bye

Your child may cry when left with us. This reaction is a normal healthy show of preference for parents. The child's fussing usually stops within a few minutes, and becomes less common with regular attendance. If crying continues for longer than 10 minutes we will page you using your child's security number.

Snacks

Toddlers, 2's & 3's are given Goldfish crackers during snack time. If your child has any allergies please notify us at check-in.

Pick up procedures

Upon check-out please present the security card you were given. We will verify that the card matches the number for your child and then release your child to you. A child will not be released to anyone without presentation of the assigned pager number.
