Foundations
We feel at The Gathering that our lives are a journey and we walk together in community. We believe the groundwork must first be laid in our lives to establish ourselves as part of a church family if we are going to be successful on this journey. Therefore, if you have attended The Gathering and would like to know more about what we believe, we invite you to register for the Foundations class. We believe the first step on our journey is to move from seeker or attendee to a committed member of the Body of Christ. In this setting we explain the history, purpose, strategy, and vision of The Gathering. There are three commitments that we ask our members to make. They are: Attend, Serve, and Grow. We also share in this class why we feel these are important. We will offer this class in one 2 hour session and it is made available monthly. Childcare will be provided. We ask that you register and let us know how many will be attending.
We also feel very strongly that we have a responsibility to our members, and that is to offer an environment that makes the three commitments possible to attain. One way we fulfill this responsibility is by offering classes that will help you navigate through the many twists and turns of discovering your purpose. We are also committed to helping you establish and build relationships that will give you a sense of belonging. As you attend, serve, and grow you will realize the adventure of being part of something bigger than yourself!
